This is a Demo

After spending a few months on this project I have the first demo build ready for people to try, give feedback on and hopefully just have lots of fun.  The demo has one character available to play with two different active "dash" abilities you can start with, "Leap" (jump over enemies, deal damage on landing) and "Kick" (just kick them silly)... sacrifice extra mobility by just killing enemies with your boots.  Every character will have an easy and hard mode with these active dash abilities -- usually one to keep mobility, the other one more gimmicky and challenging.

Features

• Drop in, slaughter the bugs in 10 minutes, and then kill the queen.
• 20 unique heroes with different starting abilities and movement dash sets -- kick enemies in the face, leap over the horde, or rip their souls out and put them to work.
• Auto attacking weapons let you focus on movement and positioning.
• A random selection of upgrades each run means your build is never the same
• Every weapon and upgrade comes from chests on the battlefield -- no shops, no grinding, just loot.
• Dozens of different enemies to fight, elites, mini bosses, and the royals themselves.

This game is in active development and I now feel confident about the core game design, flow and features I want.  It's quite optimized already and probably can run on most computers.  There's probably bugs (not the alien insect kind), this game has dozens of weapons, hundreds of abilities, lots of interactions and ways to play and I'll be adding more, so chances are some things might be weird, glitchy or just plain don't work.


Game Backstory:

You saved the world. You took the victory cruise. You did the press tour, kissed the babies, signed the action figures, even ate the sandwich they named after you.  You literally just got back. The infestation is here, you have the hive queen coordinates, and you're the only one crazy enough to drop straight into the middle of it.
